Rick Gordon, President
Rick Gordon is President and co-founder of RPG Productions. RPG Provides production and post-production services for giant screen motion pictures, theme park shows, and television, working in 4K, 6K and 8K digital, and in 70mm film
​
Rick has supervised post-production for more than 50 giant screen projects, both 2D and 3D, digital and film.

Rick served as Coordinating Producer and Sequence Director for A&E's television series, FIRST FLIGHTS, starring Neil Armstrong. He also produces all video programming for NASA's Space Center Houston visitor center.

Rick Supervised the first 2D-to-3D conversion of an entire live-action Giant Screen film, LIONS 3D, and followed up producing the 3D conversions of:

Rick serves on the Board of Directors for the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA), and previously on the Board of Directors of the Large Format Cinema Association (LFCA).
Edwin brings more than two decades of post-production knowledge to RPG Productions, Inc.
​
While earning a degree in International Business and Sociology, Edwin stumbled in to the Large Formatindustry, in 1994, as an IMAX® Projectionist at the California Science Center. He then gained hands-on experience and became a well-respected freelance worker in the emerging Large Format industry. As freelance worker, his clients included some of the most prominent companies in the Large Format industry; Destination Cinema, Graphic Films, MacgillivrayFreeman Films, Iwerks Entertainment, Zoo Productions, and Arclight Productions. Edwin has over 75 credits to his name in the capacity of QualityControl Manager, Director of Operations, Post-Production Supervisor and Vice President of Operations.
RPG later hired Edwin to initiate their 70mm Distribution Division. He went on to become Director of Operations of the facility and, in 1995, was promoted to Vice President of the company. During this time, Edwin supported the company’s expansion of 70mm Film Distribution and technology-based services, and oversaw the implementation of cutting-edge distribution developments.

Edwin Escalante, Managing Partner
In 2007 Edwin was at the forefront of the Digital Intermediate revolution and his guidance further expanded RPG’s services. Today, RPG offers nonlinear finishing in their Final Cut Pro HD editing suite, 8K conversions, title creation, 3D digital screenings, quality control, and 3D conversion supervision. In addition, an auto-assembly process matches Final Cut Pro offline projects with high resolution masters allowing RPG to fine tune HD master for a final color-grading process. Edwin keeps his thumb on the pulse of technology and never passes up an opportunity to beta test a product or collaborate with engineers on new developments in the industry. He enjoys working closely with clients to develop workflows and process using the best technology available to achieve the highest quality results for his clients’ projects.
